Move over, Bugatti Royale! This long, lovely machine made an appearance at the Meadowbrook Concours d’Elegance in 2007. As you can tell by the ribbon, it was well received. Seriously, pictures do not do this vehicle justice; you must stand next to it to appreciate both its mass and its beauty.

Dwayne Vance, of Future Elements fame, has put out a terrific new app for the iPod/iPhone/iPad. His Masters of Chicken Scratch app is chock full of hot rod goodies! Featuring beautiful car sketches & paintings, bios of several artists and designers, and full-length tutorials about how to sketch a hot rod from beginning to end, the app is a must for any car fanatic (like us).
The app features somewhere around 100(!) images and an hour-and-a-half of videos from various artists, and serves as a great companion piece to the MoCS art book already available..

Scott Robertson leads a fantastic life. Spaceships, aliens, race cars, and video games make up his not-so-average day. It’s the kind of day that many — or day we say, all? — Designers would want to have just once a month. With the freedom to draw just about anything he wants, Scott Robertson is an Industrial Designer living the dream.
So, you can imagine our excitement when we found out that he would be hosting a live lecture as a part of CCS’ monthly lecture series in Detroit. We grabbed every recording gadget that we could find, headed to the art & design school, and prepared ourselves to be blown away.
As promised, we have a special treat: A first class marker tutorial by Michele Leonello. First, a bit of background on Mr. Leonello: He’s 28 years old and has worked the past six years at Centro Stile Alfa Romeo in Milan. He was a project team member on the MiTo and the Juliet.
