A Brush Up on Bauhaus

Once in a while it’s great to look at older design trends to grab some inspiration for a project.  Bauhaus design, the German design language that spawned many a great PC font, was always one of my favorites.  Heck, Audi lived by it in the early twenty-double-ohs when creating the TT and Rosemeyer concepts.

Smashing Magazine, a website devoted to graphic and web design, has taken a look at several key Bauhaus works — mostly in graphics and posters — and posted them for our viewing pleasure.  Have a look, and get inspired.

Oh, and remind yourself at how powerful a set of geometric templates can actually be.
