It’s official, Fiat is bringing over the 5oo in 18 months! This is a cool litle car and hopefully will do well. Any idea on price yet? Will it compete with a Mini or a Yaris? Either way it will look great on the road. The Abarth version shown below is the CDf Favorite. Who else is excited about his news?
Chrysler will also get their own version. This will be the smallest car they have designed (at least since I have been around). Should be a good challenge for the designers to learn how to work with a new proportion. I believe the Ford Ka is also based off of this platform. So that is two hits for this package. Can Chrysler get the third?

the smart car company, i carnt believe they wont on to make a four-door, a sports car and then thinking of a 4×4 concept… think they were forgetting the basis of there original concept lol
Thank God! I’ve been nervously waiting to see what they were going to do with this since the Fiat takeover. Have to admit though, I’m still nervous about the execution of it. What engines, what price, what production line? You guys have a link to an official announcement somewhere?
