Aprilia Mana X

I am all about naked, standard style bikes, and grew up on a dirt bike, so seeing this bike made my morning.  The new Aprilia Mana X is blending every style of bike possible.  Part street, part dirt, part scooter.  The bike is simple, compact and has a ton of detail.

I am really digging the absence of the fuel tank(now a storage area), very minimal fenders and the thick meaty tires. The fresh take on the headlights combined with the old style wrapped exhaust is a great mix of new and old.  The trelice work runs through not only the frame but also the swingarm and bracket around the centrally mounted exhaust.

The rear end is light airly with no exhaust in the way and chunky rear fender.  This bike looks like it wants you to lay it hard in the corners and throw it around wherever you want.  The long length of the seat material visually changes the proportion of the bike into long and lean compared to most bikes being short and chuncky.

It is great to see so many new designs changing the standard deffinition of a street bike.  The future is looking bright for at least one industry.  This bike has definitley jumped to the top of my Christmas list!

Great looking design, but they’re ripping off the Ducati Monster with that frame! What’s up with that?

BELLISSSSSSSSSSSSSIMA E’ IN VENDITA E DOVE?

I’m an AMA ex-flat tracker. This motorcycle has awaken those feelings for the pure and simple motorcycle. This motorcycle is truely amazing. I only hope I’ll be able to throw my leg over this bike one day.
