T-10!

If you are anything like us, the “wacky” college years were full of clutter and mess, and cleaning up consisted of throwing as much as we can under a futon and letting the sleeping blanket drape to the ground.  Hanging coats and bags was also an adventure… your closet would tend to look like the coat check of some swanky new club whose name is simply the first half of a verb.

Well, have no fear!  Design Within Reach is here!  Well, they’ve BEEN here, but now they can help offer up a solution… and a pretty stylish one as well.   The HookBox from DWR has a nice bin in the top and a hook (gasp!) in the bottom, helping keep your nice Adidas zip-up off of the spray-mount infested floor.  Comes in red and black. On sale now for a mere $98.

Do you have an aspiring designer at home. Is he/she already designing cars in Legos, customizing their Hot Wheels, and telling you that you need flames on your car? Then how about a Car Design Kit. Underlays of different vehicles, wheel chioces and all the necessary tools for a little one to create a custom design.

I am sure you will even learn a thing or two by watching how they work. Get it here.

Do you hate books.  The annoyance of turning pages, looking for things, reading?  Well then how about a DVD.   Just sit back and relax while artist Harald Belker show you some amazing work and techniques.  He has a few instructional DVD’s out there and you can get them right here in the Fetish Shop.

K.I.T.T. is back, well actually it is his little brother of another mother.  No longer a Pontiac they went after the only muscle car currently alive - the Ford Mustang GT500.  NBC will have a 2 hour premiere  in February to start the new series.  Any bets on how long it will last?

Jalopnik has some good pics of the car which is as usual overdone, how many wings do you really need?

Suzuki has been pretty active over the last year. This is the third or fourth concept car in the past couple of months. The others were nothing much to look at, but this has promise. Could Suzuki finally have “A” Star?

Hey, what’s cookin’ in there? Popcorn, left over pizza? Nope how about a quarter scale split six. That would be a rim for a school car model in case you didn’t know. The home 3-D printers have arrived……for $5000.

T-14…ish

portal

It is a rare occasion that we come across a time-waster that is worth a design student’s effort. Portal is that time-waster, my friends. As part of the Orange Box compilation that is gracing HD consoles everywhere, Portal is a puzzle game wrapped in an FPS guise.

The story is fantastic, the comedy is wonderful, and the final ending song is one to remember for the ages.

Here is a good one for your wish list. I say wish list because I can’t seam to find out where to buy these. These being VW branded sleds. Can’t afford that new GTI, well how about one made just for the snow. These are pretty sweet if I can find where to get one. Anyone know?

This will be a great place to put your Fast.

Check out the pics below from carscoop of a few of the models.
