Suzuki Concept A-Star

astar1

Suzuki has been pretty active over the last year. This is the third or fourth concept car in the past couple of months. The others were nothing much to look at, but this has promise. Could Suzuki finally have “A” Star?

The form development is nothing new. Basically taking what worked on past concept cars and putting it in a small package. For a company that has not had much success, this is a smart way to go about it. Throw in some cool details with the lighting and this is a real looker.

The rear has some interesting things going on. The spear like taillights and exhaust high up in the fender is different. Unfortuneatly, those are two things highly unlikely to make it to the street.

The Audi esque front grill is pretty cool. It is visually floating with support from the sides. The headlights are friendly yet aggressive and the fog lights are an exciting change from the ol’ roundies wer are used to.

Hopefully this car will make it with the ground effects and fresh details. Too bad these small cars are usually made for cheap so they end up looking like crap. I guess we can only wait and see.
