Veyron Stretching its Legs
Here is a nice break from a case of the Monday’s. Watch a 1000hp Veyron go over 400 km/h. Makes me tired just thinking about it. I will be trying my best to take a 5.5hp go cart to the limits at a designer night go cart event this evening. It will be good practice for the 24hr of Lemons race this weekend. Later

Good Morning Bitches!!
I spotted McFly cruising in Doc’s time machine this weekend. What is he doing in Detriot and 2007? Maybe he is going to step in on the Union negotiations to stop the pending strike? He probably needs to go back 50 years ago to fix that mess. Good luck Marty!
1 commentThe Ring (what a ride)
I was at the Nurburgring this weekend, and what a weekend it was……….. As most of you know I am in love with my M Coupe, in fact I love every BMW ever made with the M emblem on it, it is not like Chevy, who throws an SS badge and a wing on a Cavalier and calls it a day.
No sir an M// emblem on a BMW is and will always stand for Motorsport, and one look at the pictures below you will know BMW takes it’s motorsports pretty seriously, with over 20 specially ring prepared 2008 M3’s on hand, not to mention the few red, and black ones floating around.
Enjoy, later in the week I will be posting my full video from The Ring, with many more pics and a hell of allot of nice vehicles…. Peace.

OK, not really….. but they do have a killer article that pretty much stretches cover to cover…….

Some great design and insight into the worlds #2 automaker……
A fall from grace is what it took to make GM wake up and realize that it’s products were both undesirable and poorly crafted.
I am waiting for the day I can trade in my BMW and buy a GM vehicle that is worth the money. I am a GM guy at heart, but when you put out shit product year after year, how can you expect even the most loyal customer to buy it. Let me make very clear I am not saying reliability…… because everything from my Monte Carlo to my Cavalier was bulletproof when it came to drive train and motor. I even jumped my Buick Regal over railroad tracks at over 100 kilometers an hour and drove away…..
So it is not reliability, it is 100% design (interior and exterior). Craftsmanship (the way pieces fit together and the feel). Materials (some of the worst plastics in the industry)
I like to think of my exile from buying GM products as a temporary exile…… I know GM has the most talented design staff in the world. That is not an opinion, it is a fact…….. Cheers to GM management for fixing their own internal problems and letting GM Design show what they have been wanting to show for years, beautifully designed vehicles and well crafted.
No commentsFrankfurt Autoshow Post #2
Just got back from Frankfurt, and it is a pretty good show. There is a serious lack of “newness” but in general the show is a success.
First let me comment on the show layout…. It sucks, there are 8 buildings, the maps suck, and are not descriptive, the parking is about 2 kilometers from the show, and Europeans still have no idea what a stick of deodorant is (the tram to the show smelled worse then a gym locker)……ok enough smellivision…..
On to the show. Read more
2 commentsOK Mercedes WTF….. ( Frankfurt update 1 )
Seriously, has this world gone crazy……..
I have a whole article I am writing on this car, but I had to post this pic for now.
Not Quite…But Almost
Hey there, things have been kind of crazy here in Fetish land, so we apologize for the lack of posts. As working designers, projects come in waves of work as you all know. We will be sure to get back on track next week.
Frankfurt has been going on and there has been some interesting vehicles and a lot of ho hum designs. We will start commenting on those that have interest.
I will start with the one vehicle that I was excited to see, and it isn’t even a concept car.

CDf races 24hrs LeMons
One of the craziest enthusiasts good times in quite awhile. Here is a summary of what the 24 hrs of LeMons is about for those of you who don’t know….
No commentsNasty. Brutish. Not Short Enough.
The crowd. The spectacle. The pall of blue smoke and roasted clutch discs. In all motorsport, no event captures the universal human need to whale on old crapcans and hoover down greasy barbecue like the 24 Hours of LeMons.
Each LeMons race is for cars purchased, fixed up, and track-prepped for a total of 500 dollars or less. But before reaching the grid, you’ll have to survive trials like the Personal-Injury-Lawyer Anti-Slalom, the Marxist-Valet Parking Challenge, and the Wide Open Throttle Rodthrowapalooza. Twelve hours into the race, the car voted People’s Choice is called in and awarded a cash prize; simultaneously, the car voted People’s Curse is called in and summarily destroyed. At the end of 24 hours, a gala awards ceremony plies the survivors with trophies, plaques, and four-figure purses in canvas bags full of nickels. What’s not to like?
CarDesignFetish at the Audi Cars & Stars Event
Recently (29 August), CDf had the opportunity to head over to Audi of Rochester Hills, MI for the Audi “Cars & Stars” event commemorating both the Audi heritage and the company’s racing group. It was a great night, especially for those of us inclined towards Audi’s racing vehicle prowess (ahem, R8 and S5, baby!)
