Well the race is almost here and the car is almost complete. I am going to take the next couple of days leading up to the race to show you the cars development from a 1984 Toyota Poopra to an 88mph Time Machine. Part 1 shows the steps that they left out in the movie. Doc had to start somewhere.

Here is what not a lot of money will get you. Sure you can see things through the metal that your not supposed to, but that adds character. It runs and it happens to resemble a DeLorean - that’s all that matters.

Time for teardown. Lets gut it out and see what we have under that eighties hotness!

And there we have it, stripped down and ready to be turned into Doc’s most prized possession.
