Recently (29 August), CDf had the opportunity to head over to Audi of Rochester Hills, MI for the Audi “Cars & Stars” event commemorating both the Audi heritage and the company’s racing group. It was a great night, especially for those of us inclined towards Audi’s racing vehicle prowess (ahem, R8 and S5, baby!)

Even though there was a torrential downpour of epic Noah scale we managed to have a fantastic time meeting local dealers, celebs, and the Audi racers Emanuele Pirro and Marco Werner.

The real stars of the event, however, were the cars. From the sexy S5 to the sultry R8 the cars were out in full Audi force. It’s become quite apparent that Audi’s design philosophy is stronger than ever, as each car they create seems to out-do the last.

And ahh yes, there was food and German beer!
