Cayman S Porsche Design Edition 1

What happens when you mate Porsche Design Studio with their brethren Porsche Automotive Group? You get the Porsche Cayman S Porsche Design Edition 1 (whew!). Normally incest is frowned upon, but not in this case. The meeting of design minds has given birth to an utterly sexy vehicle.

This Jeep was on display at the cruise. Does anyone know what this is all about, the Jeep Access? Is it a production specialty model or just some concept.

Pontiac G8

You never know what the OEM’s are going to slip into the Woodward Dream Cruise. Here was one surprise. The new Pontiac G8 is what I assume to be all production ready. First thoughts…this is a really nice car. Nice looking craftsmanship and detailed design work on the interior. Way to go Holden (the G8 is a rebadged Holden). If starting price is in the low 20’s this will be a sure seller and get back to Pontiacs’ “Driving Excitement.”

Kicker Crossfire

kicker1

After going to SEMA last year I saw a lot of over the top vehicles displaying there latest gadget or accessory. These companies would let shops like Orange County Choppers design their vehicle. Usually making tasteless design decisions. (Sorry OCC, but I do watch the show, very entertaining) Check out this Kicker Crossfire that was at the Dream Cruise last weekend.

texting

Driving is dangerous enough while eating, drinking, smoking, singing, talking, etc…. now everyone is texting. Probably not a shock to anyone but some of the numbers below will put your eyes back on the road.. or screen.

Most Americans say ban text-messaging while driving,
but a majority admit to doing it, according to new poll

Dream Cruise Wrap-Up

August 20th, 2007 | Category: Events

cruise1

Well another year of odd weather for the cruise. A day in the sixties maybe seventies and light rain in the afternoon still didn’t keep people away. The cruise brought in a huge crowd and some interesting sights. Stay tuned for Dream Cruise highlights throughout the week and I will have the gallery up by the end of the day.

Aston Martin Debuts DBS

August 17th, 2007 | Category: Production Car

When you think of “sex on wheels” you are hard-pressed (no pun intended) to find a car that more iconic than the Aston Martin. Featured prominently in all of the good Bond movies (snarf!) the Aston family consistently puts out sexy, muscular thoroughbreds.

The DBS is no different.

And, it really needs no introduction from us. Have a look at photos and the Aston-provided press release after the jump.
