I took this picture of the R8 a couple weeks ago and haven’t had a chance to post it. But since a fellow fetisher blogged about the new Falcon comparing it to an Audi, I thought this was an appropriate time to show the similarity; hence the front graphic. The difference here being that Audi isn’t faking any sort of air intake and they execute it beautifully. This is on hot Audi. It is definitely a super car but not overdone with testosterone.

The rear window shows off the heart of this vehicle by displaying the engine right in your face. The rear end is also subtle and aggressive at the same time.

The headlights are pretty bad ass as well. When you get up close to one check out the little lens cantilevered out in front of the projector beam. There are also a dozen LED’s following the bottom contour of the headlight. I can’t wait to see how they look at night. This is probably the first application where a production car has used LED’s in the front lighting setup. I may be wrong though.

I just thought I would share my pics and thoughts since every other blog has shown you their sightings of the R8. With that I am out, have a good one.
