Friday the XIII’th spy photo fun

Name that car….. Fridays are just a great day to get spy shots.
Again driving down that infamous I75, I spied a car in heavy camo. I really could not even tell what it was, but after SF’s comments on the blog, it is all becomming clearer.

“This is the upcoming Mazda 6. Notice the front fenders: pronounced like the RX-8, CX-7. There are similarities to the Mazda 2: in the side crease sweeping upward from the back of the front arch towards the taillights, the styling of the door handles as well as their positioning (front on crease, rear just below). Finally, the alloy-wheel design is a variation on the current MPS6. I believe earlier, you spotted a white Mazda 6, which I thought to be a development mule for this vehicle.” Thanks SF, this really clarifies things a bit.

Hunting for prototypes is fun, if you have anything you have shot that you want to share please contact us.

Here are the photos, you decide

I would have to agree, that was my first thought.

Yeah, I believe you are correct. I only had about 5 seconds to post. I did not want to anger my lady by being late for our dinner reservation. As I look closer the front absolutely resembles the Mazda grill.

Thanks for the sharp eye!!
