OK kids here is an example why you go to a good respected design school.

This was in the basement of NAIAS, and I have some reservations making fun of student work ( OK I dont ) but this thing is so wrong on so many levels. Lets look at craft… Oh sweet rims off of a mid 80’s Honda scooter. Then there is the name Rhombus??? Sure. It hurts to look at this thing.

Now before I get flamed. I am all for new innovative designs. I am for creativity, expression, etc. I love sexy surfaces, functionality, and so on and so forth . This car lacks form development, craftsmanship, interest, proportion. dignity. How does shit like this get produced. I am sure these students felt like “gosh I really made it, my car sent to America.” Great for you, now kill your teacher for wasting your time and go to a respected design school so you can get a job.
