Ducati has a special place in the hearts of just about every rider who has ever rode a throaty L-Twin. From the air cooled motors to the more complicated modern Testastretta Evoluzion Engine (said with an Italian accent of course), Ducati has lived in the hearts and minds of riders since Christ. ( Interesting fact just uncovered JC himself rode a Duc back in the day. ) It has to be that raw torque, and personality that the motor exuded in oodles. The body is damn hot as well.

So needless to say I was majorly geeked when I found out about the new DESMOSEDICI RR , and 1098 (S and Tricolor). On a recent visit to Novi MI. and the Cycleworld Motorcycle Show confirmed they bikes are hhhot. This is yet another example of pictures not accuretly depicting a designs beauty. To truely know one of these bikes you have to see and hear it in person. Have a great weekend.
